This company is based in West Malling it used to be under the name of Country Way guns and tackle, now it has a new owner but the other staff are the same as before and I am very pleased to say that the shop is now better than ever which is brilliant, also shortly the other side of the shop which is currently used for country style clothing will be replaced by even more floor space for even more tackle and bait, so this great tackle shop is going from strength to strength.

Both me and my family have used this tackle shop now for about 18 years and many of my friends also use it on a regular basis, The 2 main guys there are Steve and Sean who is the owner now, they are really friendly and approachable guys they are both regular club and team match anglers and very passionate about the sport in general, they have a good knowledge in general of all types of fishing and are only to willing to give help and tips on tackle/baits and venue information which really is great and makes for a real pleasurable visit to this shop, The guys are always up to date with the latest tackle/bait developments to hit the market, I wish they weren’t as every time I go there I order something new ! (hope my missus doesn’t read this)

inside the shop itself there are well laid out areas of shelving and racking and good floor space catering for the pleasure and match angler and the specimen carp boys as well, the shop carry’s all the latest baits and tackle innovations to hit the market, including the top bands such as Maver / Preston innovations/Fox/ Diawa/Shimano/ Dynamite baits/Bait –Tech/ Van den eynde/ Sonu baits/Mainline/Nash baits and many more all at competitive prices. The shop has general stock level and if there is something you want and they don’t have it they will usually be able to source it for you but in general they do carry 90% of the current products in stock, the tackle in the shop is clearly displayed , pole and rods are easily visible in there racking, and the baits are in two separate sections specimen/match and pleasure, also all of the end tackle is separated into the individual brands which is good meaning you don’t need to search the walls to find your favorite brand which is a god send when you are in a rush!

The Shops location is close to junction 4 of the M20 motorway and a main line train station so finding it is not a problem, the shop is found about half way up the high street next to a pub called the Joiners Arms (which is a bonus), the shop is open 9-5 Mon – Saturday, and there is several large car parks in the village so parking is not a problem.

Overall this is a well put together shop , catering well for all coarse fishing/specimen anglers who want a friendly and informative tackle shop to assist them in getting  the most from there sport, be it help in purchasing your first bits of fishing kit to information and trying out the latest £2000 pound pole, these guys are only to willing to help, so with a massive range of tackle, bait and clothing at great prices, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and good parking and much more, what are you waiting for get down there and have a look around!.
