SONU BAITS S-PELLETS AND HALI HOOKERS

This company is really pushing the commercial bait market lately, there first product was the Skinz hook and feed pellets which have gone down a storm, now they have added several new products with the help of commercial ace angler Andy the fin Finlay so they should be pretty good, the new products include new hooker pellets which are more like traditional expanders but 200 times tougher and they ooze oils when squeezed, they are bagged as  S pellets and  Halibut hookers, The S pellets are available in three flavours natural fishmeal/Strawberry and Green lip mussel. The pellets have been developed for both modern day commercial anglers and the specimen hunters a like. The pellets are available in sizes 4/6/8/11  the pellets are useable straight from the re-sealable bag and sink perfectly, they are perfect  for all scenarios be it the pole, waggler, feeder, hooked direct or  hair rigged. The darker Halibut hookers come in the same sizes but are slightly stronger so would be perfect for long chucks/casts, the oils the pellets contain have been specially formulated to work in both cold and warm conditions.

I have been using this pellets for some time now with great success with many double figure carp and decent Bream caught in both pleasure and match situations. I have used the pellets confidently on the hook and hair rigged whilst fishing the method feeder/pellet waggler and the pole and I can say I wont leave home with out a couple of bags in the bait bag.  The pellets themselves are a lot firmer than normal expanders but will still easily go on to a hook, they extrude a thick oil when squeezed this I believe is what makes them more attractive than standard pellets. The main usage for me is on my feeder/pva bag rigs which I hair rig them using a Korum quick stop which penetrates them with ease,  I also use them in my method feeder fishing. The real plus points of these pellets are that one they last on the hook/hair 10x longer than a normal pellet which is very handy when your waiting for baits two they are full of flavour and three they are available in multiple sizes. Oh and I forget one more thing fish love them!.

 SKINZ PELLETS

I purchased these pellets because for some time I have been trying to find a pellet to use when fishing a pellet waggler / method setup without using bands. And I am pleased to report that these have ended my quest they have a soft stretchy skin on the outside which contains soluble feeding triggers and on the  inside there is a   hi-attract  blended inner core containing more stimulants. The skin is so stretchy I have managed to stretch a 4mm pellet in excess of 1/2 an inch with out it breaking open. They are suitable for normal hooking or hair rigging and will withstand multiple strong casts on the waggler or feeder. The skinz hook pellets are available in 4/8/12mm and in gold or brown colouration they require soaking for about 15-25 minutes to become soft and ready to use. I have been very pleased with this pellets and I use them for the pellet waggler and method work. The other benefit is they can be coloured and dyed (there is a range of dyes and flavours available in the range) which can give you an edge over plain pellets. The Feed pellets have a very similar look about them but break down extremely fast. They are best feed my catapult of in a ground bait mix, I don't recommend wetting them down due to the speed of the breakdown. These pellets do offer a brilliant attraction I have seen my peg literally become alive after a short period of using them and because of breakdown speed a carpet of feed is created very quickly for the fish to feed over.

Overall this is a well made and useful collection of pellet based baits.
