Stoned fishery is a new up and coming Match and specimen fishery consisting of 3 lakes and a smaller children's pond/mini lake. The fishery is located on next to Stone Garden centre on the Isle of Sheppey and is easy to find. It is a really well laid out complex and the lakes themselves are not just bowls full of fish they have some really nice features and some superb fish in them to catch so go take a look you wont be disappointed. The match lake is constantly in use by both top match anglers and pleasure fisherman a like.
Children's lake
Carp : koi, crucian, mirror and
ghost .Barbel,bream,chub,roach and tench. The children's
lake is decked, and the depth is approx 2ft by the
decking and 5ft towards the centre.
Match Lake
Carp : koi, mirror, crucian. Bream, perch, roach, rudd and tench. 46
swims. Depth 2-3 ft in the margins, 7ft at various
points .Biggest fish caught to date is 12lb approx carp,
largest catch in a competition is 98lb. favoured swims
are 8, 13,and 43.
Match Record 143lb 6oz from Peg 5,
this shows you the calibre of the fishing to be had from
this prolific lake.
Specimen Lake
Carp:
koi,mirror, crucian. Barbel,bream,chub,tench. Depth ranges
from 2-9ft. 26 pegs. Largest carp caught 37lb (May
2008),
largest bream caught 10lb 3oz. Favoured pegs, 69,63,49
New Lake
Approx 35 pegs. Stocked mainly with carp
and approx 4ft in depth
