Maryuku is a 100 year old company and the world’s largest bait producing company. Boilies

Many of the baits and boilies sold in the UK have been developed and refined from a limited number of templates.
Many share similar characteristics and, sometimes, the same ingredients. This can prove to be a problem when they are used because - especially on pressurised venues - fish learn to associate their characteristics with danger. This can be a smell, a taste, a colour or a consistency, but the outcome is the same - fish will avoid or ignore.

Marukyu has worked long and hard to develop a range of baits that are both nutritionally of value to the fish, and trigger them to feed.
The result is a complete range of baits that have instant fish appeal, and, due to their complex ingredients, can be used time and time again without triggering the fear factor in fish.

Maruyku Angler friendly paste

Marukyu GLUTEN pastes have simple to understand mixing instructions on the back of the package. For best results mix until the water has spread evenly throughout the bait and there are no dry patches left. Try to limit the amount of time mixing the bait to the bare minimum. Once the water is spread evenly, let the bait sit for 3-4 minutes. Then just before use flip it over and take bait from the side that was on the bottom.
When baiting GLUTEN pastes, generally it is best to bait the hook by pulling the hook through the bottom of the bait. Doing so will avoid breaking the GLUTEN threads which are very important to keep the bait on the hook. GLUTEN bait expands in the water making it very light yet strong bait. Due to the expansion of the bait, you do not need to put much on the hook. Generally place enough bait so as to just cover the hook.

Marukyu Groundbaits

All of Marukyu's groundbaits come under the header EFG Explosive formula groundbait. These are EFG101, EFG102 and EFG 120 and EFG 121. The number on the end ie EFG 10(1) denotes the size of the crumb (0) being the finest and (2) being the largest.

EFG 100/101 -  These groundbaits are packed with marine proteins that all fishes in the carp family just love. They provide incredibly fast flavour release and multiple ingredients will attract the wariest of fish. Perfect on high-pressured waters. Number of main ingredients 12 £3.99

EFG 120/121 - Both groundbaits are packed with marine proteins, with the addition of Nori (seaweed) that is highly attractive to coarse fish. The groundbaits have incredibly fast flavour release and multiple ingredients will attract the wariest of fish. Nori is proving to be outstanding at attracting all cyprinids including F1’s plus bream and tench. Number of main ingredients 13. £3.99

Super Groundbaits

These are Marukyu's 'Super Baits' these baits are designed to give the ultimate attraction and stimulate fish into a feeding frenzy. There are 5 groundbaits in this super groundbait range. EFG 131,140,142,150,151.

These groundbaits contain in excess of 59 ingredients to create these brilliant baits. They come in 900kg  and are priced at £6.99

The Marukyu scientists have calculated that the best pellets for catching fish are those made using the cold manufacturing process. Almost all other pellets on the market are made for feeding fish in aquaculture are made by the extrusion method, which involves a heating process.
Marukyu scientists believe that a cold and dry pellet has many more advantages. The speed of releasing the attractants is very important along with breakdown speed; Marukyu pellets are extremely fast working.
These pellets are denser that traditional pellets and are not colour coated, which gives them distinct advantages.

Soft Hooker Pellets
Marukyu's SDP 2210 and 2310 pellets are what we call 'softies'.
The name speaks for itself and the pellets are fully mouldable and very adaptable.
At first glance you may think this is just a boilie paste, however you cannot be further from the truth.
This is possibly the most scientifically developed soft bait in the world. simply split with your nail and you can make it any size and any shape. You can even join two or more together to make a bigger bait.

The 2210 (protein based) and 2310 (Nori based) both come in 10mm size.
